This cosy little cafe hid away in Bridgetown, when you're inside you forget you're in a bustling town. Staff was friendly and the food was quite enjoyable. Def would recommend
The chef at Josephines has a very good palate and her dishes are beautifully balanced with some unique twists and we loved the Granny P's soup, pate with onion jam and hummus which were way above average. The shady courtyard setting was intimate yet we felt comfortably discrete. Overall, we had a warm welcome and all we felt the pricing was fair especially considering the quality of the cuisine offered.
My fiancé and I went here for a lunch date, and it far exceeded my expectations. First of all, even though we were in town, it felt like we were somewhere on the south or west coast, it felt really upscale, and the atmosphere was truly serene.
The menu options are exciting and not the traditional lunch time variety, and the food was delicious. I absolutely loved the frozen lemonade mint, that's probably the wrong name but you would figure it out once you see the menu, and the garlic bread that came with my pasta dish was delicious. I also had the coconut pound cake with ice cream and everything just tasted great.
Even the way the food was presented on the plates gave us the fine dining experience, so it definitely felt like a date, rather than just an hour out from work. And speaking of that hour from work, we had our main dishes, and dessert and were finished in time for my fiancé to go back to work.
So it was definitely an enjoyable experience and we intend on going there more often.
Nice menu with delicious options but service was lack lustre and beyond SLOW with dreadfully long wait times.
Would NOT advise this restaurant for persons looking to get a quick lunch in less than an hour.
Neither is it a place I'd be interested in visiting again.
